Mental Health Training Class Beginning

Mental Health First Aid Courses are being offered in our area. This is a public education program to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness. For more information contact HopeResourcesOnline.com and MentalHealthFirstAid.org.

How is your faith community addressing mental illness among your members and the community at large? Do you need help with this? The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for DeKalb County has a program that will help your community get up to speed on issues facing those living with mental illness and their significant others and how to start a program of your own and how to get involved in NAMI DeKalb. For more information contact Alisa at alisa@namidekalb.com. We can be found at Namidekalb.com. Visit www.CHIPGeorgia.com for more ideas on welcoming those with a mental illness into your community of faith.
